Pics of my cosmo powered 89T2

Finally got around to getting the finishing touches on the my 89 T2. This is my *other* turboII

Its a cosmo 13BRE, with an FD waterpump housing, stock power steering motor converted to serpentine belt. It has a hybrid t04, 3" downpipe with racing beat center muffler. Its pulls hard past 7k RPM. Its amazing, it pulls stronger up high than my yellow car. Im going to strap in on the dyno at the end of the month, we'll see how it does.

Don't know how long ill keep the car, but its been a super fun project.

Seth:

two Questions.

A) does a UIM from a 13B Cosmo fit the LIM from my FC
B) where did you get, or can i get such an intake manifold?

I've been looking and can't find one, i figure it might be easier in Cali, then here in FL.

A: No. The ports are different.

B. I am using a complete 13B-RE cosmo motor, including the LIM, which is VERY different than the FC. Its similiar to the FD. I actually had to buy the UIM gasket from mazdacomp for the Cosmo motor because its so different from an FD and FC. I couldn't make one.

Actually, the battery kicks ***! The car sat for about a month and it started right up. The battery starts the car no problem, and it doesnt take up any room in the already cramped engine bay. Honestly, i don't think its worth the price though....
