well hondahater I have to say that you're is definitely more polished, but with the smokey&thebandit stripe and that supra wing, I'm not acknowledging your foot to stand on when it comes to taste.

and for the record, the bandits trans-am doesnt have stripes, its solid black with the gold bird on the hood.

I don't get why you would post pictures of your car unless you understand that there will almost ALWAYS be critisism. If you dont want ANY negative comments (however minor or harsh they may be) don't post pictures of your car. Its simple.

And just for good measure- I'm going to say that I don't particularly care for hondahater's style. I personally think his wing and mufflers are obnoxious and the stripes are lame. I hope his response, if any, is slightly more mature.

 

lol, hey I hear that all the time about the wing and I don't mind at all only reason I don't get rid of it is because the wife likes it so it gets me laid the taste may not be what people are about but it's not what it looks like its how it is done and that it is done right. If yall do searches on my car you will see I have a post about my car the first time I posted pix on this site and people gave me a royal *** chew for the wing but you know what I didn't mind at all it's what the internet is about. Lets face it, if no one criticized how the hell would we know what needs improvement. one thing i don't understand is the beef about the tail pipes? All tail pipes for this car if apexi, greddy, hks etc... all have fart can style tips.

 

I agree totally. I actually enjoy most criticism (unless its on my choice of style, in which case I don't enjoy it ) so that I can fix the things that I don't notice after all these years.

lol, only time I get criticized is when it comes to my style but you know what? thats what makes everyone differant and thats why i don't mind having a car that doesn't look stock because it adds my little pizzaz to the car and if done right definatley ads to the car and in my oppinion makes the car more MY CAR. I didn't want to be hating on anyones car thats why i said usually I don't do this however that kid just kinda threw things together and didn't even half way make it look descent and then posted pictures. Anyways true racing beat does have nice conservative looking mufflers however they are a bit expensive for my taste being that i can get my car tuned by steve kan for less DirkyDirka you have a nice lookin' fc! congrats. Only reason I wanted an fd was because I just drove one not to long ago for the first time and it was done up with power fc and upgraded everything but stock twins and let me tell you that thing spooled so quick and had such good throttle responce instead of the more laggy single turbo that i instantly fell in love, that and the interior and everything is updated so it just looks incredible however with my car basically I've changed everything on it and to get rid of something I know is solid for something that I will probably have to do the same thing with and spend twice the money, i'm just not ready for that kind of thing finantially. in short I'm glad I'm keeping my 7

That damn thing is a work in progress, and his work in progress looks better than mine. Granted I just got mine and it is lacking a front fender, and an engine and tranny, but **** its a project car. Gotta have faith in the dude, that he will look at the clean cars on this forum, learn from them, and one day he will have one like them. Give it time homies, he will learn. well technically it appeared he was proud of the condition of the car hence this thread and the links, the criticism was way too harsh but criticism is not always a bad thing. put more time into it and it will be a nice car. ditch the stickers and paint it one solid color and many people will show a lot more respect.

If my baby was just in a wreck, and it looked alot better than when it was wrecked in a short amount of time, I would probably be alittle proud as well, but I wouldn't say it looked great, just better.
