pics of my 89 TII

i traded this FC for an FD in november, sold the FD, and now the guy who traded me is gonna sell my ole TII back to me for a pretty good price. its a long story, but anyways... i'm picking it up a week from friday.

i'll just link the pics for all the 56k people cause they are kinda big...

but here it is

http://www.streetelite.net/pics/Cartmill/

the only plans when i get it back is a SMP front lip and i'm gonna sell the fd wheels and get some 17x8 and 17x9 fn01r-c wheels in silver... if i ever get around to it, my plan is to sell the KYB AGX's/RBsprings/camber plates and get some Tein coilovers

or possibly the SMP stock TII lip and make my own underbelly pan... not really sure

i flogged this car for an entire weekend at the end of september.

friday: atleast 10 4th gear dyno pulls while tuning
saturday: 100 mile drive to the 1/4 mile drag strip and atleast 10 passes 100 mile drive back home
sunday: a full day of autocross with a co-driver (10 autocross runs)

if it survived a weekend of that, its not going to blow up any time soon. i'm sure the cheap racegas at the pump here at school definitely helped though

Was the 3rd gen you traded for in need of alot of work or was it just stock or what. That TII is sick but most 3rd gen guys won't trade for a 2nd gen even though that is a bad *** car. I would take it over a stock third gen with high miles which I'm guessing is what you traded for.

no its like getting back with that girl you dated in college that was always horny. But she's not a **** because you were the third owner, she has 69k original miles and you did all the tuning.

are those gauges stock? They look more red than orange, and the needles light up. How'd you go about doing that?
