pics of my 88 project

well the car is finally at the point where i wanna show it off so here goes.

I acquired it abandoned for free as a 4 lug automatic with a blown coolant seal a couple years ago and have been putting spare time and as little money into it as possible.

full rebuild on a s5 block minus oil seal springs, complete manual conversion (clutch interlock etc.), 4.1 rear end swap, pineapple sleeve inserts with set screws, and almost all stock minus 16X7 primes with michelin MXV4's and what i believe are TII mufflers

oh and i forgot the reason for this post is to thank everyone on the forum and rotary community for helping with info, etc.: many forum members, atkins rotary, rotary resurrection to name a few contributors

it's cut open... it was a spare box neways and it made a noticeable difference in intake/exhaust noise and tone... now performance i don't know about but it couldn't hurt i suppose

nope it's not brown, it's the stock burgandy complete with peeling clear-coat from cheap resprays done by whomever had it first. it's getting resprayed metallic blood red if i'm ever satisfied with/done spending money on the mechanical condition (which will never happen)
