Finally drove to MN to pick up my 1991. Its black on black with the 5 spoke rims. It runs, but I have to drain the two year old fuel out of the tank and mess around with it to see if I can get it started. Interior is nice and clean, motor is supposedly not blown, though I have yet to check the compression. Amazingly the hatch struts still make the rear hatch rise automatically. I've never seen a 7 do that before heh. Front bumper is really faded, but that clean spot was about 30 seconds with some polish. I have all the interior stuff too, it was all in the hatch, just not in the car. Interior is pretty clean. Nice black carpet, no stains.

that was a good find. i only place i can think where there would be an fc that cheap is in the midwest/centeral usa. they sell imports there because its mostly domestics there.

Damn nice find. I would love a black on black S5 with 91 coupe wheels. The hatch struts in my 89 still work very well too LOL

 

And I was thinking I got a steal for my S5 by only paying 1,000 dollars. 200 dollars for an even newer S5... well that blows my deal straight out of the water considering the body is just in fairly worse shape than mine. Congratulations on the buy, man.
