Hmm...

No badges and the wrong color. What do you think is it legit?

What's wrong with the color?
I parted out '90 GTUs that was black.

Yo,

Not enough pics to tell. I need pics of the roof, the interior, etc.

Here's a quick list on how to spot a GTUs:

1. Color - Red, White or Black

2. Sunroof - Nope, doesn't have one.

3. Rear Wiper - Nope, doesn't have one.

4. Manual windows

5. Cloth interior (Black for Red and Black, Blue for White exterior)

6. 4 piston front calipers

7. Rear LSD oil tag

You'll note I didn't put the 16" rims, or the GTUs sticker, you can get those...

Ummm...his ad on ebay says "fastest sports car made that year" Well, I am pretty certain that there were quite a few cars made in 89 that were faster, like maybe an 89 TII??? Maybe you want to question if he is being honest about the car being a real GTU S

the guy sounds like he doesn't know much about the car...... at least he didn't say it was a 6 cylinder twin turbo or something. Well it looks like from RarestRX's list that it isn't a GTUs.

PARTED IT OUT!

I bought it at a yard for $1000. The front end was hit so har it was pointing 10 degrees to the right. I kept the tranny & my friend kept the underpinnings. We sold the rest of it for more than the cost.

I don't know, by the looks of the picture it doesn't have the rear wiper. Mainly because the wiper sits on the driver side and you can DEFINITELY see it from the angle of the picture. However, it isn't there. Moreover, this doesn't mean that the car is a GTU-S because the rear wiper can easily be removed.

Well, that really doesn't say much, other than the fact that it's an RX-7. Coupe under body style doesn't mean it's a base model or anything. Turbos would say the same thing.

7. Rear LSD oil tag
I thought all 89-91 with LSD had viscous LSD, which doesn't require special fluid.

I just ran the VIN at work and it comes up as an 89 GTUs. When I put the VIN into the computer, it lists the "Grade" and it says that it is a GTUs.

I don't know how to take a screen shot with Windows 98, but if someone wants to tell me, I can post what I am looking at.

If you just press the 'print screen' button (usually it's to the right of the F12 key on the keyboard) , it will capture the image of everything displayed on your monitor and copy it to the clipboard. After that, open up Paint or your image editor of choice and Edit->Paste. The image should show up and you can crop it as you please.

Cool, here is a picture. I am at work and don't have anything that will edit the size easily, so it is about 82k

Well, I would love to send it, but I don't have access to the files for the program itself. I work at a Mazda Dealer, so I just have access to it on the computer.

Sorry
