How do I know if I have an electric oil pump or a manual oil pump. My car is an 88 non-turbo. I do not know if it is an S4 or S5. here are some pics

Last? Well, mines got 130,000mi on it and working fine. The S5s have some reliability issues with their electrical pumps, but generally the mechanical ones are problem free. Just take a look at the oil injection lines everytime you're under the hood to make sure that oil is still being pumped through them. It's not a huge amount though.
