Picking parts car clean

Well I found a 86 coupe for 400 bucks ( I own a vert ) he took some things off so it can't run but he said It ran well in september.

I plan on dismantling the whole car in a week or two

Keep the spare parts I want (everything minus shell)

Do you think it will be a hard job ? I plan on just throwing everything in the garage when I'm done and scraping the shell. It's not bad but there is rust.

everything works apparently minus the motor.

Do you think it's worth it to do it just in case of a rainy day and something happens like my tranny goes?

I'm pretty limited on space so I would have to do it as quickly as possible.

Side note would the coupe rear end be better for my vert ?
