Preferably silver, but thats probably asking too much. I have a 90 GXL and just popped a guardrail on a ramp and need a new front bumper, I can't decide which one I like better. I'd be getting it repainted and geting the moldings painted over. Would the clear S5 parking lights fit into the S4 bumper? Which bumper do you think looks better?

well IMO i would go with the s5. and no the clear lights do not fit in the s4 bumpers. the s4 bumper has smaller lights. the s5 bumper looks more agressive, and you can get lips for the s5, one of the few advantages..

 

personally i think the S4 is a little cooler just because very few people can really pull it off (most just go for the S5 and some generic lip). An all black S4 with stock [S4] fog lights is one of the best looking Rx7s possible imo.

Also, you can make lips / clear lenses pretty easy, so dont let that be the big selling point of the S5 bumper

 

thanks for the info, I like the S5s but I don't like the way it sinks in on the bottom, and the little cut/curve on each side. The S4 looks a lot cleaner to me, I just need a pic with one on an S5 with the moldings painted. Sucks cuz theres like 1353532809 S4 bumpers for sale around me and no S5s.



With the 626 lip the S4 looks better, I'm sure I can find one in a junkyard around here later. Are the S4 moldings going to line up with my S5 fenders?

What wheels are on that Red N/A FC. They look verrrraa niiiice.

the S4 moldings are raised a little more from the surface than the S5 which are more flush.

maybe you can sand them or work out some bondo-band-aids?

 

I think they're actually too big to be vert wheels. They look like 16's to me.

My S5 car has an S4 bumper.. I could take pics....... the S4 bumper is painted red, no black trim. They line up funky.

 

Finally, someone is wanting an s4 bumper. The p/o actually cut out the little thing in the middle of the rad opening on my front bumper, and it actually looks pretty good.

Well... its still around! But, I liked the braille **** one better. I like to change it up from time to time. The hard part is finding one that doesn't suck that adheres to the rediculous 6kb size restraints set for this site. Disk space is possibly the cheapest thing in the world, and almost everybody I know has highspeed internet of some form... I think a 20k filesize is more appropriate. Then atleast you can have cool animated ones. anyways.. </hijack>

its funny when I had my s4 i wanted to convert it to s5 bumpers and such... now that I have my s5... i really like s4... hell even the tail lights... i guess I just miss my N/A T-T twas my first car...
