A Pic of my Fuel Pump Rewire

Here's how I did the rewire in the trunk, for anyone so interested. I haven't started the car yet (engine STILL isn't installed) but I'll let you know about it when I do.

The power line is a 10ga. stranded copper wire I pull through a 15amp blade-type automotive fuse directly from the battery. It runs straight back, following the stock wiring runs as much as possible, all the way to the trunk where it connects to the relay circled in green (a Bosch 30A automotive relay). I got the relay + the relay plug/harness from Parts Express. The relay harness appears to be 14ga. wire but for such a short run it won't really matter all that much. I trimmed the relay leads to about 2-3" max. I screwed it into a hole I found in the frame. This was probably used for the trunk plastics, but oh well. I don't like the trunk plastics anyway and since I am stuffing my subs back there I will probably keep the majority of the front and side plastics off anyway. Less rattle.

I clipped the wiring harness from my NA since I am not using it anymore, and I clipped the connector off another relay pack I had, so that I did not need to modify either the relay/resistor pack OR my brand new factory harness. I used the leads from the stock harnesses to connect to the 12ga. stranded copper zip cord which I ran from the front right corner to this location in the trunk. I needed about 20-25 feet in all since I used it as hookup wire between everything in the rear, and I followed the curves of the car exactly when installing it, tieing it down every so often as well.

Anyway here's the pic:
