Im getting my FC repainted very soon. Theres nothing wrong with the stock paint, but Im just getting it freshened up, plus getting all the door dings taken out. Id like to do something a bit different while Im at it. Ive always wanted to do a 2-tone paint job, and I think the factory rubstrips would make a great place to break the colors. I also really like the factory artic silver, so I would like to keep the majority of the car that color. So I was thinking, factory silver above teh rubstrip, and black below the rubstrip. Also, possibly doing something like the white/blue FC in the pic below, only with my silver/black colorscheme. If someone could photoshop my FC to make it the 2-tone , and then other one in the same colors, Id really appreciate it. Heres mine:

This is not what you asked but I have to say that I saw a pic of your car the other day and was very impressed. I wouldn't personally do any drastic changes other than paint the hood and rear spoiler to match the paint. I don't normally like the black moldings but with your black mirrors and darker wheels it seems to work really well. But it is your car so go nuts. And also what rim and tire set up are you running and more importantly what width and offset.

Haha, well thanks for the compliments. Yes I like the black/silver contrast, which is why I like the black S4 mouldings, the black mirrors, and spoiler, and why I chose darker wheels ( What BTW are Enkei RPM2s, 17x9 rear with a +40 offset, 255/40 tire, and 17x8 front, +35 offset, 235/40 tire) I just wanted to accentuate it a bit more with the 2-tone paint. Other things that are going on before paint, is a set of S5 Turbo2 sideskirts, and a S5 bumper/lip. Im also dbating on taking the spoiler off all together, but havent decided.

 

dude, dont change it. i also have arctic silver and the black spoiler, and it looks so nice.

mm.... with a S5 front bumper, and rid of the spoiler, I think that would look great!

 

Having looked at the photoshop mods it only affirms my position that no drastic changes are warranted. I would even say no to the S5 additions you spoke of. But as I said before its your car.

 

except the hood... needs to be the same color as teh car, even if it is carbon fibre, still looks g...hey when its a different color than the car

damn you and your difficult to match in photoshop silver ! i do like the 2-tone.

 

the 2tone looks too "80's" on the s5's. i think it works good with the s4 though, since it already has the black sidemouldings.

the headlights are just fine( like i care, i dont ******* own that car anymore it was my 400 dollar daily beater..., and thats pavement.

here look, the aftermath from that burnout (yes thats a one tire fire, hahaha)
last time i checked burning out in gravel didnt leave a 20 foot patch of rubber
