performance upgrades

I just got my car running again and I would like to do some performance mods to it I have a 1986 N/A rx7 and I want to get a little more out of it but I would like to do it for as little as possible because I'm saving for a turbo kit.
What can I do?

Sell it and pick up a turbo rx7. Other than Vert owners, I don't uInderstand people who buy NAs and then expect to be able to wring more power out of them. I own a Vert because I think it is the best looking convertible ever made so I'm willing to suffer with its performance.
