performance exhaust and gas mileage

Would like to get R/B down pipe/presilencer/catback for my 88 vert n/a. Has anyone had a noticable improvement in gas mileage with this setup or one like it. The car is stock

You'll probably suffer worse gas mileage cause you'll have more power and be on the throttle more IMHO. Anyways, you don't buy a 7 for gas mileage. You buy a civic for that.

Make sure you get the system with the exhaust backpressure pick-up tube or your auxiliary ports won't open.

Yea I know about the foot problem with my speed3 mods, was just curious if it got a little better. Need to fix that darn sticking aux port sleeve first.

I actually just fixed that sticking port problem.

Main problem was my lack of good actuator gaskets. I have an extra set for $5 plus shipping FYI, but you can get them from the dealership as well.

Yea I got mine from the dealer also + extras. I was able to free up rear one with carb cleaner, it was just the shaft but the front one has just enough friction that it hangs up opening and closing. I used a fuel pressure gauge and shutoff + tee fitting to apply the 1.5-2.5 to check the actuators. Glad to hear yours are working. My car had been setting for 3 years. oh well need to replace vac lines while i'm at it and probably the omp lines.
