performance clutch

hey guys i was thinking of getting the Bonez Street Comp Clutch kit for my 87 fc3s turbo 2 i just wanted to know if it was any good. It also mentions that the bearings don't como with it (www.rx7.com) and they don't sell the bearing necessary for an 87 turbo car. i was wondering if i could just use the 89-91 bearings or if i should order this kit from somewhere else. if so can you guys provide me with a website where i could order the following: spark plugs, spark wires, clutch kit and bearings? thanks.

whatever you do DO NOT BUY a parts store/oem clutch, they are ***.

I've seriously had to replace my clutch more often than my oil, and that is WRONG.

the oem clutch is fine when installed correctly, but ACT clutches are amazing! for the extra parts I would suggest mazdatrix.com or your local dealer.

I think the ones he means are *** are the discount parts stores "oem" replacement parts. The clutch is supposed to be a direct OEM replacement, but they sure as hell didn't get it from Mazda...

The guy who got mine bought it directly from the Mazda Dealership (wholesale! whoo!) and the real deal is pretty good, although not exactly a performance part.

I was reading in another thread a few people were debating the usefulness of a high-performance clutch on a street driven car. What are your thought about a good ACT clutch vs OEM for a daily driver?

That kit is what I have...its going in along with a RB alum flywheel in two days. I have the kit already...but looking back on it....I should have went with the XTREME PP and street disk...just because I'm looking to be close to 300rwhp and the Xtreme PP is rated higher...and would probaly grab harder. Otherwise...the SS kit that I have looks to be pretty nice overall.
