Performance Chips

Are there any performance chips available for the NA Fc ?
Do these work? or are they a waste of money?

The only way you'll get more power out of a rotary is by pulling (shoving is for turbos >_>) more (preferably as cool as possible) air and fuel into the engine and letting the exhaust gasses escape freely.

For the intake/exhaust, you need a conical filter and a free flowing exhaust.

Then you have fuel management to worry about, except not. Since the stock NA ECU runs pig ******* rich, you're pretty much good now matter what intake/exhaust setup you do.

If you start doing crazy crazy ports you'll want to invest in an aftermarket controller, but chances are you if you're asking this you won't be running a PP.

From your signature, it sounds like you're aware of the issues you can have with leaning out on a turbo engine, but you won't get that on an NA.

a/f controller might not be a horrible idea if you have the extra money. power can be had by leaning the mix out somewhat.

but if you want tons of power in a N/A package, PP + weber 51s (or bigger) is the way to do it.
