performace brake rotors.

i do a lot of high speed events durring the summer and i would like a pair of performance rotors. Does anyone make non-Xdrilled/slotted rotors that are steel and are affordable?

Dont turn this into why x-drilled/ slotted rotors are better plez.

Powerslot. Haven't installed mine yet but have heard only good things about them. Not too bad price wise either.

I hear that the Brembo blanks are nice - 1FastT2 replaced his drilled ones with them.

The tire rack sells them (not cross drilled/slotted) for $50 each - which seems almost too good to be true. As yet, I don't think anyone has called to verify that they are indeed the 5 lug ones, and that they can get them quickly, but it might be worth a phone call. $50 for brembos sounds good to me!

Here's the link:

These prices represent a 1990 TII.

OC just curious why do you want plaind rotors? Do you have a 4lug or 5lug car? if you have 4lug that sux but I would not minde having some slotted or x-drilled but I don't know yet. I like the name BREMBO just like I like FC or RX-7 it is just cool and both have great performance. The brembos are like 120 a peice plus shipping. THat is cheap

Wow, those are even cheaper.....

Has anyone had any experience with these? I too need new brakes, and there are lots out there. Notwithstanding the pro/cons of crossdrilling, there are a lot of rotors out there, for all kinds of money. Brembo has a great name, but are these just a budget "one size fits all" kind of thing?

So who has 'em?

I would assume that those are direct fit. The website is http://www.nopionline.com. They have slotted and crossdrilled rotors.

i have the 5-lug setup. on my 90' gxl.

blank rotors last longer then x-drilled/slotted rotors. And with most modern brake pads, theres no improvement in performance with X-drilled/slotted rotors in dry weather.

I know that brembo make some cheaper rotors, but i think the good ones are made of steel. Most other rotors are made of iron.

are S5 and S4 5 lug rotors interchangable? cuz the store has '86-89' and '89-91' separate for rotors.
