perfect NA exhaust diameter??

What size of exhaust piping is just right for an NA FC???

Obviously going too big is a bad thing and I know it is very critical to have good backpressure but still have a better flowing exhaust system than stock.

Would this be the best setup for the series 5 rotary??

keep in mind cats are being completely replaced by pipe.

headers, 2.5" pipe, 3" muffler tip??

When I puchased my system I was told 2.5" on the pre cat piping and 2" (Y cat back system) was good.
Mine is a Bönez 2.5" Race Pipe with Presilencer
Cat-back is 2" split Y. Tips are dual 2.5".

The difference was awesome!! You could feel the difference.

There may be better combos but this is the one recommended for NA's buy Racingbeat and RX7.com

I have a 3" system. If I had the chance to do it over again, then I'd go with a 2.5" diameter.
