PD... and YES, I did a search...
I have heard many grumblings about replacing the pulsation damper, but can't find an answer to MY question. I have an 86 NA, and I do not see any fuel pooling, or smell any gasoline odors. The car has just over 56k original miles on it, and I am really trying to keep the car for a long time. (I own an FB which gets babied)
Should I replace the pulsation damper BEFORE it goes bad, or should I leave it until there's a problem? Any viewpoints from owners who have had experience with PD issues are welcome and encouraged!

I think icemark is working on GM PDs again, not sure. But that might be a cheaper alternative. But the PD is important. I'm not pulling my car out for the summer until it's been replaced.
