passed smog test today with downpipe and bonez high flow cat

Hey everyone I just passed smogged today with a corksport 3inch downpipe and bonez high flow main cat replacement and the stock catback. I can finally register my car now.

Here are the results

RPM: 782
co2=13.9 /o2 1.6/HC=19/ co=0

RPM: 2585

co2= 11.2/ o2 = 5.4/ HC = 8/ co= 0

The max allowed HC was 120 and the average was 29 at idle.

The max allowed HC at my RPM was 140 and the average was 20.

Max for co at both idle and certain RPM were both 0 and both averages were 0.1.

Just thought I would share with everyone.

Question EMISSIONS TESTING

Congratulations!

I have an Black 89 GTU, I've just had the engine rebuilt and street ported. I also added a Bonez cat and a racing beat dual exhaust. The car has 109K original miles and it did not pass its first state inspection. Max HC is 220 ppm and CO max is 120 ppm. My car registered 992 HC and 220 on the CO reading! It is also showing a steady engine check light after it is warmed up and running for about 10 minutes. I can't get it to show any ECU codes so I am taking it to a local performance shop who says they can retreive the codes for me.

Can you, or anyone, give me any pointers on what I should be looking for? What did you have to do to get your 7II to pass emissions test?

I have 30 days to get it in compliance in North Carolina.

I got the main cat replacement which is the same for turbo and NA and didnt get the turboflo system because I do not have the stock connecting pipe.

The flange is 2.5" so it will bolt up to the stock connecting pipe and pretty much any aftermarket catback. I got the 3" corksport downpipe that replaces the pre cat and stock connecting pipe. Fits perfectly.
