I'm looking for a high flow cat system, but if I'm going to bother having a cat it needs to pass inspection and the sniffer... has anyone passed IN CALIFORNIA with the SINGLE CAT system?

The precat is supposed to only have an effect on cold startup, so you should be fine, although I don't know if the highflow cat is more, equal, or less effective than stock.

 

Yeah, I passed with just a single Bonz main cat and custom down pipe on my 'vert.

i just got my car and the exhaust is broke.. im gonna gt a DP, then run 3 inch from the muffler shop to a hi flo cat, then 3 inch to some universal chrome ricy muffler...

I think ill keep the dual exhaust thing goin.. i kinda like it... so make that 2 ricy chrome mufflers!

id buy that for a dollar!

I had that single cat setup from Bonez on my 86 n/a here in Utah.. It passed by a HUGE GIGANTIC margin. SLC emmissions are just as bad as Cali.. As long as you can pass visual with one, it works very very good.

I just passed emmissions in my TII with the Bonez Turboflow system.. Not as good as the n/a did, but it passed fine.
