Parts questions!
Hi all
Just picked up a 1988 RX7 Convertible
The convertible top needs to be replaced... (Ordered one off ebay)
I got a question does the stock one come with a drain?
I didn't know so I ordered one on ebay without the drain.
The carpets, seats, interior trim all needs to be replaced.
Anyone know where I can get these parts from?
As for exterior the window trims needs to be replaced. Anyone know where I can get these also?
Other than that the engine is great, its a 13B injected.
I don't need power as this is just to learn how to drive a stick shift.
Maybe down the road I will put a LS1 in it.
But if anyone can answer me where I can get parts for the car that'd be great!
Also
Audio wise... Does anyone have any audio spec for the car?
I know its got speakers in the seats.
What sizes are the other speakers?
Has anyone done any audio upgrade for their convertible?
I tried looking but couldn't find any.
If anyone can help out that'd be great!

a good quality upholstery shop can do all of the above. some aftermarket suppliers make seat covers, vert tops and the carpet, but quality varies. money talks and the cheaper parts generally are lower quality.
the window trim can still be gotten by your mazda dealer or refurbished by some shops. i put mine to the wire wheel and then sprayed on plasti-dip and they have survived perfectly for over 10 years.
