parts needed to fully rebuild tranny
what all parts are involved in rebuilding a tranny??
i doubt i will need EVERYTHING new, but am curious as to what all i would need to buy in order to rebuild the tranny .. what parts MOST commonly need to be replaced... and if you could list a good place to buy those needed/recommended parts that would be great too ...
i dont plan on doing it myself ...
but i would like to have all the parts, so i could take it to a trusted tranny mechanic, and have them just charge me labor ... i think it would be far less expensive for me that way ...
the tranny doesnt really give me any problems, but last night reverse didnt engage easily and grinded a tad bit .. since then it hasnt done it, but im sure its only gonna get worse ... so i figured since im about to rebuild the engine ,.... might as well get the tranny too
i know i would need all 5 synchros ...
what else is important to ****** while rebuilding a tranny?

I'm making my own list as I tear my spare down, but there is a site that might help...

It would probably be much more cost effective to purchase a used/Jspec tranny. The TII trannies are pretty hardy and you should be able to pick one up fairly cheap and in good shape.
