Parts Location of A/C Cut-out Control System
I have performed the FSM service test and can not get
the results that the test specifies.
Test : 89 GTU Non Turbo
1) Turn the A/C & Blower switches on.
2) Turn the ignition switch on ( engine not running )
3) Shift the transmission into gear (M/T) I have 5spd
4) Open the throttle valve fully and verify that the
magnetic cluth diengages (click is heard ), then
rengages after 7 sec
I am not getting the clicking when opening throttle, no
clicking at all. The only clicking is when you close the throttle
one of the 5 seleniods grouped together clicks.
1) Is the Nuetral switch fairly easy to spot & get to from
under the car if you jack it up. I want to test it.
2) Where is the Magnetic relay located?

3) What is the EC-AT control Control Unit? I'm thinking
this might be related to A/T Auto Trans and I don't
have Auto Trans.

The WOT cutoff of the AC on the T2's is performed by the ECU itself. There is a wire going in and out of the stock ECU. I only know this because to make your AC work with a standalone you have to loop the said wires.
