part II of turbo removal help

I'm trying to see if someone can help me identify a hose and what it does. I might have to take a picture but I think I can describe it pretty well. Go to the nipple where the stock blow off valve comes off of before it runs into the stock TID. Now go about 2 inches lower to the ground, and move towards the rear of the car another 2. There is a thick black hose here. I've determined that it's air. It plugs into the big flying saucer looking thing that hangs along the mess of stuff underneath the upper intake. Is this line for the airpump or what? I don't have to pass any visual emissions, so I'm basically removing and plugging everything I can. If no one can make sense of this then I'll take a pic tommorow

Is it just hanging there loose? It sounds to me like the line that goes out the back of the ACV to the main converter.

you mean the split air pipe? I know it's not that. I'll take a pic of it when I get home. I am pretty sure its something for the air pump or other emissions junk.

If it's a 3/4 ID hose that goes towards the front of the car, it's the silencer hose. Extra air pump air that's not used is routed to a silencer that's under the passenger side headlight.
