got back to my car tonight from a club and right when i hit my alarm button to disarm it, the parking lights came on, at 1st i thought maybe somebody tried to break in while i was away but there were no signs, drove home and forgot about it...when i shut off my car and turned off the lights they were still on!!! i'm really tired right now so i'm not gonna try to fix it til tomorrow, so for now i just disconnected the battery...any ideas? thanks

 

Sounds like your aftermarket alarm is broken.

Unplug it

 

sounds like you have a short to ground somewhere. happened to me.

 

don't know much about the alarm since it was on the car when i bought it, i'll bring it to local mazda guy tomorrow morning to check it out, thanks!

 

fixed...pulled the fuse labeled "BTN" and put it back, thanks to Slpin!

 

thats why i will never ever put a stupid aftermarket alarm on my car. all my freinds have them and had them proffessionally installed and all of them are messed up now
