Parking brake Problem Help!!!!!!!!!!

Angry Parking brake Problem Help!!!!!!!!!!

ok i installed new rear brakes on the car. And before i could pull up the laver like 15 clicks or so. So i tightened the adjusting nut up on the inside!! it still will not hold!! i got uner the car and inspected the lines and they look ok what could be the problem????

i need major help because i cannot rely on putting the car 1st and thinking it will allways stay!!

help!! Any advise needed!!

When you put the pads in, did you have the parking brake pulled up? If you did, then the pressure to the rear will be different than it was. This is because when you pull the parking brake lever, it pulls a little more fluid to the caliper. If it was pulled, when you pushed the pistons back, it pushed too much fluid back and when you release the parking brake there is not enough fluid reaching them.

I would bleed the rear brakes and make sure. Can't hurt. I always bleed the brakes with new pads.

Here is why you want to make sure the rear brakes are bled and the parking brake works 100%
