parasitic loads

ok something is eating away my battery. i know the car takes small amounts of power for the clock and radio but this is my question:

will my power steering computer be a parasitic load if i disconnect the harness? no right?

If you disconnect the harness, and it's not shorting/grounding out, then I would assume the answer to your question is 'No'.
