Painting rotor centers
I just got in a new set of slotted rotors for my FC. I was thinking of painting the center part, just because I hate it when you look through a nice wheel and see a rusty rotor. Has anyone done this? Just curious. Im not planning on painting it any "flashy" color, probably just gloss black, but just curious to see pictures of someone elses job....

Yo could always laquer them. The only problem with painting them is after you torque the lug nuts on and run for awhile without removing the wheel, a hell of a bond is created and you'll have to whack the **** out of the top of the wheel to get it to pop off. That also leads to some paint coming off and cracking/chipping. It does make a hell of a difference if you're running aftermarket rims that show more of the rotor though, looks much cleaner in the long run.

Find a metal plating shop and have them zinc washed/plated. It'll save the vents of the rotors from rust as well as the center part you're talking about. I did this with my old car and it only cost me about $50 for all four rotors.
