Painting question

Hey I just bought an 88 SE and had a question....

I had been looking for a good rx7 for...almsot a a year since its impossible to find a good one here in Minnesota I settled on a few things. One of the things was the Black Trim that goes all around the car.

The car itself was from Utah and the paint has been faded by the sun...So when I bought it, i knew I would need to paint it.

ok here's my question

Will I be able to paint over the black trim when i get the car repaited?

(Sorry I dont know anything about bodywork/painting so had to ask)

Sure, check the photo section and you will see vehicles with the black molding painted. Other options would include removing the entire molding and painting it; or taping off the molding and leaving them black (that is the look I prefer).

Whatever you choice, either ways look good.
