i think the calipers look tight when they are painted, my car is white and i want to get some black 5 or 6 spoke rims and paint my calipers white.

Are you going for looks or performance? They look great when painted. Sand the paint off the "Mazda" logo to make it stand out. On the downside, paint is an insulator. It'll hold some heat in. The bare metal radiates heat the best. This mainly applies if you are going to use this car on the track often. If you do go for the paint, get some that is for calipers. This paint can take the heat without flaking off prematurely.

I've used gloss engine enemal before. Still looked fine 2 years later when I sold it. I think that "brake caliper paint" is the same stuff with a higher price tag, but I might be wrong.
Just make sure you pick a colour that compliments your exterior colour.
