... with lime greem polka dots

Seriously though , can't go wrong with red. I had mine black for a while but changed to red, wanted something that stood out a bit more. ( I know..Im a ricer ) Whatever you do, just make sure you do it right and clean the calipers well and use a high quality paint. Nothing worse than a shitty looking caliper job. I took mine completely apart and wire-wheeled them down so they looked almost polished, then gave them 2 coats of high-temp engine enamel, and a coat of clear. I tend to take things to the extreme though, but they look amazing.

is it very hard to take them off/ put on? if so i have access to a wheel and a polished look might be good, or use a clear black to make it look anodized black, that would be megatight

I did almost the same thing with mine in blue. Cleaned them off really well, finish sanded the Mazda logo, covered the bolts, and logo with glue to keep the blue off them, painted about 3-4 coats of color, then 2 coats of clear. Then I reinstalled them too early and leaked a bit of brake fluid on the passenger side caliper because the stupid fitting wouldn't go in straight, and it bubbled and slopped off in a 2x2 inch portion. Man I was pissed. Oh well, something to redo when I get wheels that show off the calipers.

You could match the color of the car, red or better yet go for a contrasting color. I recommend caliper paint, both VHT and Duplicolor make it and it is designed for this application. But what ever you do don't use cheap paint. I didn't take mine off but I did clean the crap out of them, then masked off everything before painting.

I was going to suggest yellow, but I'm not sure how deep a bronze color your wheels are?

If you're interested I have a few pictures of mine, during the process and behind the wheels...

I say normally gunmetal. Except that your car is red, so red

Bronze logo to match the wheels.

Since my car is blue, and my BBS wheels are aluminum, I've debated painting them blue, and the logo aluminum.

I painted mine red last summer and I love the look. My car is (mostly) black but I'm sure red on a red car will look great too.

Don't paint, get them powder coated. It might be more expensive, but the color will stay put. You don't have to worry about chipping, fading, and it generally tougher.
