The pics are pretty ghetto, but whateva'.
Exterior secrets:
The front bumper, both front fenders, the s5 mirrors, spoiler, front lip, side trim and s4 aero side moldings have ALL been spray-painted and clear-coated using my "Krylon King" technique (and clear-coat).
The front lip is off of the earlier Nissan s13's. They're expensive though, cause all the Nissan guys want them too. It's been mounted with 2 bolts on the sides, and zip ties underneath. It's also supported by two small "L" brackets I got at Home depot.
All of the lenses have been blacked out using transparent VHT Niteshade tinting spray.
The 'mouth' of the front bumper has also been blacked out using 'precision cut' electrical tape on the horizontal cross piece and flat black paint on the vertical supports. The reason I used electrical tape is, one, because of it's resistance to chipping (duh) and because where the cross brace 'molds' into the sides of the mouth, well, good luck on the masking job if you're thinking about painting it (I've done it before).
The s5 taillights have been modified to remove the textured interior piece, to give it that modernized 'clear' look. They've also been clear-coated to bring them back to life.
The car currently sits on stock springs, with KYB front struts and Koni's in the rear (pass. rear is blown).
The wheels also sport color-matched Mazda center-caps in the rear.
The fronts aren't left out though, because the brake calipers have been painted in high temperature low-gloss black and the raised Mazda logo has been painted with a paint-pen, white.
My interior has a lot of subtle custom tweaks to bring it to a similar caliber as the exterior (aside from the ripped seats, ugh) I.E; black, black, black etc.
The engine bay is relatively stock (though very clean, literally)
Mods are:
rebuilt using Atkins apex seals, 'high boost' corner seals/springs etc.
60k mi. housings
60k mi. N/A 9:4:1 compression rotors
Racing beat street-ports (somewhat extended)
ported WG
MBC running 11psi MAX boost
cleaned 550cc injectors
Greddy Type-S BOV
K&N drop in air filter
80mm. DP/MP bolted to stock Y pipe/mufflers
gauges etc.
There are alot of mods coming, cause I'm currently making mucho dinero.

hmm...i suspect it looks good because the wheel hides in the shadow and is matched with the shiny rim line, so you can't really see how thin it looks. That's my complaint with 18s...tire looks so thin.

18's look good if you have upgraded shocks and springs. If you don't they look like they don't belong on the car. We just put some 18' deep dish on my friends vert and they look good. Now he wishes he went with 18 front and 19 rear.

Wow, that looks great! I like your list of grassroots modifications. Very clever, without the cheapy ghetto look that often comes with saving money on exterior modifications.
I think it looks terrific!
