i just painted my motor today. going to rebuild it tommorow. though i would share the pics with you guys. i used that duplicolor metallic blue 500F paint. and duplicolor gloss black 500F.

 

looks nice, i preferred blue and silver on mine, but thats not bad.

 

i woulda done silver housings with blue irons, but i like the look of that too.

 

Looks good! How did you prep the irons and rotor housings? just cleaned the hell out of them?

is the 500 Degree paint going to bake off and smell horrid under your hood or is that a hot enough heat rated paint for the motor?
