Smile painted interior!!! what do ya think? opinions?

just wanted to see what you guys think about my interior painting! i'm gonna be painting more panels, like the glove box, and the little cluster in front of the gauges, and other small ones. only ones I painted so far are the main dash, the shifter surrounding, and the cover on top for the warning lights!

I personally think interior painting/accenting is tacky; but to each their own.

oh ok, equalizer, gotcha. well what paint did the accord guy use? I used 4 coats of krylon Fusion and 2 or 3 coats of enamel! KRYLON FUSION is some awesome paint, i highly recommend it! my brother painted this huge piece of his interior that he was gonna throw away just for testing, and he put 2 coats, and even without enamel and it's been in our backyard since like 5 or 6 months, plus the rain and cold, and hot weather. no flakes, no chipping, no weathering. it's really awesome paint. I didn't go cheap on this painting

Thats true, the guy that painter our accord probably used lower quality paint. Good job painting it anyhow, it looks like nice even coats.

it'll look better once you get some more blue in there...are you planning on puttin a rollbar or anything in there? cuz its bad to mount ur shoulder straps for the harness lower than your shoulder just so ya know

I painted my 87's back in the day.. It held up VERY WELL!!! DUplicolor paint. I really like it when it matches the color of the car, OR!! Ad's a subtle touch to the interior.. The previous owner of my WHITE Vert painted the stuff inside white, looks like ***... It's all about color selection

Here's my old Eclipse. Those interior shots are my custom job. The dark paint is chameleon that I made mostly purple, but changed to several rich colors. Oranges, golds, blues and a really cool green. Then the blue I matched to the color of the car (Thought the car paint looked a bit brighter due to sun.)

Enjoy

Oh, and it'll never come off unless you sand it if you clear coat the **** out of it.

I mean, I'm not saying that it will never fade, but I have just never had it happen personally. All paint on ANYTHING will eventually fade. How soon is in the quality of the work you've done and the quality of the materials you used.
