I have an 88 GTU with a mostly original black paint job. Most of its life it was garaged, and the clear coat still looks very shiny. I was buffing the car for the first time and noticed that some black was coming up onto the rag. The clear coat still looked fine where I buffed it-any ideas?

 

black is a one stage paint job, only the mica colors had clear, keep buffing but dont go deep, or you'll see primer soon enough
