ok well had a lil fender bender. and i need a new hood. I have a 91 n/a in red. i think the paint is Sq (blaze Red) i can get a hood from a 87(i think) thats red to, but my question is are they the same red or are they different, and if they are different is it a big change?

 

anyone please... i can get this hood for 20 bux.. i need it... if it will look ok

 

i dont think that there is a change in color, just a change in size. S4 vs. S5.

the hoods between 86-91 are all the same dimensions!

Why do u think the n/a guys can put turbo hoods on their cars and vise versa?

I would pick it up if u can get it for only 20 bucks..
However the color may be different as sunrise red and blaze red where both color options on the fc.

Take into account that most likely the older hood is probably faded to a degree.

 

In 1987 it was "Pure Red". Check Icemark's sticky at the top - "What did my FC come with?" I can't remember what year had sunrise red.

I'm positive it's a different paint code. Like Action said, it's probably a little faded too. You might have to live with a little mismatch until you decide to paint the car or hasve a fresh coat put on the hood - and tell them the paint code and to color match it as best as possible.
