Unhappy pads are rubbing

so my pads are rubbing just SLIGHTLY. should i be worried? also, what are those two wirey thingies that are on the middle/top of the caliper?

as you can tell i am no expert on brakes, but i have a pretty good idea on how they work.

thanks

It's normal for the pads to rub the rotors when the brakes are not applied, but there should be very little pressure actually pushing them on. If your calipers are sticking, then they will keep the pads hard against the rotors causing lots of heat and wear.

The little springs at the top are there to help retract the pads very slightly, and keep them from rattling.

yeah man as long as your brake rotors aren't glowing at night or heating up a bunch during normal driving its ok. I just installed pads all around and they all contacted the rotor.
