i dont know how much mazdatrix is but autozone sells bosch generic ones you just have to soder it in. thats alittle frowned apon though because you dont have the oem connection this creates resistance you dont really have a true reading then. But chances are most peoples connections are dirty and they got resistance there anyway. So the bosch one i think is about 25 bucks

thats exactly what i was talking about a generic or universal one you dont you just solder it to the wire from the harness just cut that connector off i believe its green on the harness side and solder the 2 wired together. You can solder this to the old o2 sensor connector and then just connect it but thats gonna create more resistance then just soldering it straight to the harness wire

The bosch one I got has a crimp connector that looks like it could be used as a push and lock type connector. I'm going to try that, but we'll see.. I think I'll end up criming AND soldering... soldering only is supposed to mess up the output of the sensor.. but crimping tends to vibe loose.

i think sodering and crimping will both have the same effect. If you heat the wire to much you can damage it. that may be the downside of sodering but hey what about a crimp connector with heat shrink that shouldnt come loose

I just bought a the OEM bosch O2 sensor at AutoZone today for $41.99. The 25 dollar one is the universal type. The oem one came with the correct connector.
