oh man dude. Yea my car been sitting for like 3 weeks ever since it started to over heat. HOPE NOTHING ELSE GOT DAMAGED.

Do you have another water temp beside the stock one ?

If so which would you recommend ?

ima go ahead and say its a seal same **** was happening to me...tonight on the way home from bowling seal finally went...my symptoms were over flo pissing coolant but not coming out the back cause exhaust was going in the coolant system and pushing coolant out. finally blew tonight and the cap did some mickey mouse **** and had a jet of ******* **** fly out of the rad...good thing i work at a towing company....

also like pontiac 3000 fans work well pretty much any huge single fan

It's possible that if the bubbles your talking about is actually the coolant boiling. If so I'd check the cap.. It's designed to pressurize the system.. Pressure raises the boiling temp of the coolant and if it's not holding pressure it boils and spews and over heats.. I'd also check the fan

My 86 n/a is doing the same thing boils over at idle, new thermotat, changed waterpump, still overheats, but i have no white smoke at start up, so maybe not coolant seals, i have very good compression readings, hope its not coolant seals, could thermal reactor being clogged cause it

waterpump won't cause coolant to be pushed out of the overflow.....

you have either a bad radiator cap or a blown coolant seal. not sure why it took 2 pages of BS for someone to say it.

Whats more frustrating is that Im pretty sure he has done absolutely ZILCH to test and see if either are blown...
