Overheating? Could have fooled me!
Yes my rx7 started overheating so I of course change the thermostat, which didn't help...But I did finally find the problem...It had an air-lock!! Of all things..Has anybody had this problem? There evidently is a screw your suppose to unscrew to add liquids also?? Wow could of fooled me and it did...I have never heard anything like this before. Thanks to all whos helped me out in the past with all my little problems. I love my car...Rita

the 86-88 have a air bleed screw. you open it up as you fill your coolant. when water starts comming out you close it. and then finish filling the rad.
to get rid of air you need to run the car with the cap off untill it reaches full temp. and turn the heater on to hot. as the car warms up the water level will drop. fill as needed.
