overheating converters

I have a 91 RX7, get the car running and within a few minutes the converter is glowing, this is a new converter replaced all 3 with only 2. any suggestions. Then of course because we can't run very long it floods. Thanks for your help.

Sounds to me like you lost an apex seal and are dumping all the fuel from one rotor into the cat where its burning. what do you mean you cant run very long or it floods. does the engine run very rought with lots of vibration and do you have very little power? i'd get a compression test done.
