overheated my car is it ruined?

I overheated my 7 and now it wont start I didn't look at the temp guage and it overheated I put coolant in now, it wont even start but I did start it once since the overheat. :By the way I smell gas in the coolant, not good right?

I had gas in the coolant before the overheat but it still ran like hell whats up?

its possible to run even with a broken coolant seal, but as you run it it will get worse and worse. I went trhough the same thing. I was experiencing the symptoms every day, then they got worse, and now I've got a new engine being shipped to my house :P
