Overhaul kit component differences
so i was browsing around for overhaul kit prices, and was wondering what the differences are between the turbo and n/a kits? i mean, can you switch the gaskets between the two? what about the seals?
i'm sure there's some kind of differences since they have two separate kits for rebuilding...

the internals are the same (oil seals, all springs, compression seals, water seals, o rings).
your right, the differences are the things like the gaskets.
i bought a pretty complete kit a couple years ago and did not use some of the gaskets. for the rebuild I'm about to start I'm going to get the rotaryaviation.com basic kit. then i'll just buy intake gaskets and and other little things separately

by gaskets you mean the intake/exhaust gaskets right? yeah i was looking at the rotaryaviation kits too, pretty decent prices among all others, but i was a bit skeptical about the turbo/na differences
