over heating problems.

so randomly my hose going from the driver side of the block into the firewall burst so i replaced that, motor is still overheating. replaced thermostat and radiator cap, still overheating. also heater blows ice cold when motor is hot. top radiator hose is burning hot and all swelled up while the bottum hose feels cold, does this sound like a somehow clogged radiator or could my water pump not be working? water pump is not making any weird sounds nor is it seeping... please help!

Make sure you bleed all the air out when you refill with coolant. I'm thinking its an air bubble, if it were the radiator or the water pump then both the upper and lower rad hoses would be hot, and most likely you would have a coolant leak from behind the water pump pulley (from the weep hole that leaks when the water pump is bad, most of the time.)

literally? that sounds really weird. so you replaced the hose and filled the coolant all the way back up and bled the system?

are you seeing any coolant leaks anywhere?

i think the top hose being hot is normal and the bottom one being cooler is normal as well because that is the direction the system flows.

can you give us any info/mods on your car?
