So just grab the end of it ( opposite the mirror ) and pull straight up?

On the mazdatrix link, is it the window seal or the window channel? I cant tell which one is the one I want.

In the FSM it's called "weatherstrip (outer)"

Ok, I had success in removing the old outer weatherstrip. The ends opposite the mirrors were not going to budge. I tried the pliers trick to no avail. Finally, I had the windows rolled down, and on the mirror side, reached inside between the inner and outer seals and was able to pull the outer seal straight up and out.
What an improvement the news ones from Mazatrix are!!!

you would want the outer window seal


and i could have sworn they werel like low $30 range....but maybe I was wrong, or maybe they raised the price since I had last checked. Ah well, still cheaper than the dealer would be.....in most cases.

victoria british has ALL of the stripping, and rubber replacements....
i dont think they are expensive at all...
order one of those catalogs, and check the prices....
they usually arent too bad
