I have a Carter pump in my 91 running the Holley carb but it is so loud it drives me crazy. I bought a Mallory comp 4110 which is supposed to be very quiet. The problem is where to mount it. The Carter I mounted at the front left corner of the gas tank hung from the trunk floor. With the gas tank in place it tucks up in nicely but the Mallory is too tall to fit in that space. Every other location seems to be too close to suspension or exhaust. Any suggestions would be appreciated. If someone has this pump let me know how you mounted it (pictures would be even better). Thanks.
