Ouside moulding removal?

Ouside moulding removal?

Can anyone tell me how the moulding is removed off the ouside of a S5? Im about to go get some from a pick-a-part yard.

It just pops right off. It's held in by clips. Firm pressure will pop it off. Practice on a different car before you pull the one you want if you're worried about warping it(not likely).

On the door its on by clips. One on each fender is clipped on and the other is glued/double sided taped on. I think the one on the rear quarter panel is taped too.

I heard you can try melting it a little and then pull it off slowly

I broke one taking them off a car, one of the ones that are held on by the tape that is. Be really careful and just go slow.
