OS GikenTwin Plate Clutch installation problems

Alright now I bought a j-spec motor with the OS clutch on it an just installed the clutch and flywheel onto my motor. Now I went to put the j-spec tranny on and it will not go on all the way. When its about 1/4 of an inch away from being completely on it will just not go anymore. An if I put some of the bolts in thay are hard to tighten and I do not want to snap anything. Any suggestions on the problem?

what do you expect you bought a motor out of a junk yard in japan. It shouldn't be a shocker that they bolted on a clutch and flywheel from another junked car to get a few more bucks. JSPECS should be used as cores only. Damn these things are coming up on 20 years old.

Pull the tranny back out and check your pilot bearing and see if the discs are oriented correctly.

Did you use the SPLINED clutch disc alignment tool???

You can't use a "generic" one, cause the splines need to be lined up for both discs.
If they are not lined up perfectly, it will not work.
