Original price of a 90 TII??

Original price of a 90 TII??

I was looking through the owners manual of my 90 TII and I found the original sales reciept for the vehicle. the original owner paid a little over $30k for the car. It was $38,400 after all fees and crap. Does that sound really high? I didnt think these cars cost that much new. Anyone know?

Jeese! Yeah that's way high... Infni IV new in japan with was ~$21,000 in us dollars..
My 10th AE was $24,738 new in '88
'88 GTU loaded was 20k...
'88 Convertible loaded was 24k
'89 turboII loaded was $26,884

Strange, i thought the most expensive rx7s in the US were the 91 verts with all the options and sold for 31k at most. I'm not sure why it would be 38,000 that seems awful high for a 200hp car in 1990

before fees it was $30k and some change... It is a black/black TII with leather... Still seems high to me.. and the guy paid 11.5% interest on his loan lol

yeah...interest will kill ya! i paid 23k for my mazda mp3...but after finance charges it was a little over 32k..... them bastards!

oh, i and i have the original window sticker for my fc and it says a little over 22k for mine///
1991 coupe w/ everything except abs, cruise control and tilt wheel..... its crazy to think that my car cost more than an srt-4 14 years ago

Ah Hah... I figured it out... Ok, base price for the TII was $24250 - Then the Leather seats, and cd player/EQ were optional. Mine got both of those.. Thats why it was so damn expensive
