Optima batteries?

Well, I've decided to finally buy my new battery and would like to purchase an Optima Yellow Top. Does anyone know where I can get a deal on one? Advanced Auto Parts sells them for $180(!!!). I'm sure there's gotta be a better place to get them. Any info is appreciated. Thanks.

Alright look,
The good thing...They are the best batteries on the market...I leave my lights on all the time in my truck, It always starts...Always. Even when its dead, I let it sit for 3 mins...it will have a slow crank but will start and recharge itself. I gave had no problems with optima for 2 1/2 years.

The bad thing is if your going to do a fmic or thing like that its kinda big and would need to relocate it. I kinda wanna change to a smaller batt from baker or odyssey its alot smaller but thats all I know about it.

I understand it's going to be big, but that's ok. I'm going to relocate it to the passenger side storage bin. Right now I had a 800 CCA battery from a Mustang in it and it didn't fit in the tray, but still fit under the hood and everything. Size isn't an issue. The only issue now is finding one cheaper than 180 dollars.

if your relocating your bat anywhere in the car, definately get the optima. you NEED a dry-call battery. if you dont have one, well battery acid and the fumes they emit are not good. look at the warning labels.. haha.

Find an Odyssey PC680 or a PC925. They are nice and lightweight and also compact. They can be installed any way but upside down.

Also, I know Aaron Cake recommends Deka or Exide batteries.

Yea, I understand the need for a dry-cell battery if it's being located into the interior of the car. I made a long thread about it before trying to decide which battery I wanted to get and came up with a dry-cell deep cycle, so that's my reason for wanting an Optima Yellow Top D34 or D34/78 battery. I was just trying to figure out where I could get one for the best price, and so far Advance has the best price for one.
